Skyrim Mod: Macho Dragon Randy Savage

I... words fail me on this one.  This has become my favorite Skyrim mod of them all.  Absolute tops in ridiculousness and comedy.  A mod that turns all dragons into Macho Man Randy Savage.

That's right.  Complete with hat, glasses, and catchphrases instead of roars.
Hear a dragon off in the distance? "Macho Man comming to get ya".
Dragon breathing fire on you?  "O yea!".
Biting you? "Snap into a Slim Jim!"
Taking off for flight? "Macho Madness, sky's the limit!"
It goes on...

I love it.  Check out this video of the game's opening with the Macho Dragon:

I guess this mod's been out there for a while.  I'm not sure why it took me this long to find, but I'm glad I finally did.  It's the best.

The download and details can be found at skyrim nexus

Now I'm off to the store to get some Slim Jims... and maybe a tasseled jacket

Happy Valentine's Day: Skyrim Valentine's Cards

Happy Valentine's Day all!

I'm single, so I'll spend tonight in the Barnes and Noble romance novel section picking up desperate, single women.

If you have someone special, try wooing them with one of these awesome Skyrim Valentine's Day cards by artist Jemma Salume.  Her deviantart page is eatfun.deviantart.com.

You won't need the Amulet of Mara with these at your disposal.  Who could resist?

Skyrim Battle Royale

Check out this video by mans1ay3r (Machinima).  It's a free-for-all battle with all of the enemies in Skyrim.

I'm not entirely sure what mod was used, but I could probably waste a lot of time with it.  It seems like all of the enemies with ranged attacks seem to do the best, just hanging around the perimeter picking people off... unless they were fighting a werewolf.  And of course the dragon just flies around for a while, which seems a little unfair.  But still a really cool video to watch.

Honestly I'm a little surprised the mudcrab didn't take it

Skyrim Weapon Mods: May the Force be With You (To Save Aeris)

So a pair of cool Skyrim Skin mods for your endgame weapons.

The first one is an obvious lightsaber mod.  It allows for dual wielding with different colors.  Check it out:

The lightsaber magicka mod can be found here: http://skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=3174

The next mod gives you a two-handed version of Cloud's Buster Sword from Final Fantasy VII.  Check it out:

The only problem I'm having now is deciding which one is cooler...

Skyrim Mod: Fast Travel Directly to your House

Another nifty Skyrim mod here.  This one adds all of the player's homes as map markers, so you can fast travel right to your house's front door.  Another small mod that comes in handy for saving time.

Adds the following map marker locations:

* Whiterun, Breezehome (front door)* Windhelm, Hjerim (front door)* Markarth, Vlindrel Hall (front door)* College Of Winterhold, Arch-Mage's Quarters (roof)* Solitude, Proudspire Manor (front door)* Riften, Honeyside (front door and balcony on the outside)

Skyrim Road Map Mod

One of the things that can get pretty annoying in Skyrim is figuring out how to get where you need to go.  Now I'm all for wandering around aimlessly and adventuring, but sometimes you just want to get somewhere for a quest quickly.  For me, it seems like any destination in the mountains is always nearly impossible to get to.  There's usually only one road into the mountain pass, and I end up circling the entire range looking for it.

This mod adds a useful feature in putting roads onto the world map.  It has two map options: showing all roads; and showing only major roads.  Something simple, but very useful.

Here's a video showing the updated map interface:

Skyrim Mod: Tired of Mudcrabs, Why Not Zoidberg?

Tired of those lame old mudcrabs scuttling around in Skyrim?  Spice things up by changing them into good old Dr. Zoidberg from Futurama with this mod:

I love it, especially the Zoidberg voice.  Credit to Snoopey0 for this awesome mod.  The download can be found here:

Definitely one to add some lighthearted fun to the game.

Skyrim Multiplayer Mod

If you haven't been playing Skyrim, what's wrong with you?  (Insert arrow to the knee joke here)  Anyway, there's a new mod available that turns the single-player game into an MMO, complete with a friends list and trade capabilities.  However, the mod is still in a very early development stage, and as such some major bugs exist.  The major one seems to be that fast-travel gets wrecked, even if you delete the mod.  In addition, the current version of the mod causes frequent crashes.  Nevertheless, this is definitely one to keep your eye on.  With such an active modding community, you have to expect that the bugs will get fixed over time.

Here's a video of some of the gameplay:

The modder's website is www.skyrim-online.com

Here's some more info via skyrimnexus.com:

Skyrim Online turns your single experience into an online experience, play with your friends, chat with people worldwide, trade with other players...
Currently in the alpha stage you can see other players (appearing as naked prisoners), you can also chat with everybody.
The mod also includes an Arena to fight with waves of creeps.
Offcial website : http://skyrim-online.com/
Installation :
0) Back up your config files, this mod will rewrite them !!!
1) Unrar the file in your Skyrim root folder.
2) Create a shortcut for SkyrimOnline.exe on your desktop
Usage :
- Start SkyrimOnline.exe, it will automatically update the mod and then allow you to start the game with the mod.
- When you enter the game, you will be prompted for a username, enter whatever username you feel like using there is no authentication yet.
- To switch between UI mode and Game mode press F3.
- Numpad 7 8 9 are used for the arena, try them out.
Known bugs :
- In UI mode some keys are sill enabled such as Journal and Wait, you might want to bind these keys to keys that are not needed in the UI (I personally use £ and µ).
- Compatibility issues with some mods (no list available)
- Breaks Fast Travel !
- Leaves players there if you save the game with players around.
- Crashes on start (unknown reason, happened to a few people)
Trouble shoot :
OH NOES it broke fast travel even after uninstall it !!!!?!
- You just have to delete the saves you made while playing Skyrim Online and it will work again !
Uninstalling :
- Delete SkyrimOnline.asi, SkyrimOnlineProxy.dll, enbpatch.ini, d3d9.dll
